Sealer Removal

Over time, sealers and polishes build up on the stone. Eventually, the soil gets trapped in between the layers applied over the years. At this the point, the floor will need to be stripped back to it’s original state. Using various chemicals and machines, we can remove the old sealers and polishes that have broken down over time and no longer protect the tile.

Following this procedure, a new seal will need to be applied to protect the tile in the future. There are various option ranging from colour enhancing impregnator sealers to a topical high sheen finish. All of which will make day to day maintenance much easier.

This procedure is mainly aimed at Victorian, Edwardian, Slate, Terracotta, Quarry and Sandstone floors.
