Limestone Floor Cleaners – Teddington – Middlesex

Limestone Floor Cleaning.

This Limestone floor in Teddington, Middlesex had been laid and sealed approximately 8 years ago. As you can see from the pictures, the stone was in need of a clean and re-surface.

Firstly, we cleaned the tile and grout with a high alkaline chemical and rotary scrubbing machine. The chemical and the soil was then rinsed away with a power wash which sprays a jet of water onto the surface and vacuums away, leaving no mess.

Following the clean, we then re-surfaced the Limestone using diamond abrasive pads to remove minor scratches and any old sealer. Our customer chose a satin finish but the Limestone can also be highly polished to a mirror finish if chosen.

2 coats of a solvent based impregnator sealer was applied after the stone had dried. This will protect the Limestone from spills and soil and make maintenance easier in the future.
