This Marble stone floor in Virginia Water, Surrey had not been professionally cleaned for 7 years. It was in need of re-surfacing, polishing and sealing.

Firstly, we machine scrubbed the Marble with a high alkaline chemical to remove any surface dirt. Diamond abrasive pads were then used to cut back through any old sealer and small scratches to the stone.

The next step was to crystallise polish the Mable tiles to give a high gloss finish. As you can see from the picture, the Marble now has a very sharp reflection. After allowing the floor to dry over 24 hours, we then applied a solvent based impregnator sealer to help protect the Marble from spillages and dirt.

Marble is naturally a hard stone but over time the surface will become dull due to etching from acidic chemicals and daily traffic. Once the stone has been resurfaced and polished, daily maintenance will become much simpler.
