Victorian Floor Cleaning – Richmond – Surrey

This Victorian floor in Richmond, Surrey was in fairly good condition. The seal had broken down and had allowed the soil to penetrate the tiles. Recent building work meant there had been heavy traffic, so the floor was in need of restoration.

We cleaned the floor using a high alkaline cleaning solution and a rotary scrubbing machine. The corners and tricky parts were all cleaned by hand.

The residue of cleaning solution and soil was then rinsed and vacuumed away leaving the Victorian floor ready to receive a new sealer.

We then applied 4 coats of low sheen topical sealer. This enhances the colour and creates a protective layer to repel soil and spillages. It also makes day-to-day maintenance easier.
